Serena Baker, MSN, FNP-BC

Serena Baker, MSN, FNP-BC joined Traveler’s Medical Service in 2015. She received a Master in Nursing from the Frontier Nursing University and became a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Serena became interested in international health while volunteering in El Salvador. There she worked with local and American health care programs, providing training and screening for cervical cancer. She then worked as nurse at the US Embassy in San Salvador, caring for American staff and their families. Prior to joining Traveler’s Medical she worked at Columbia University, providing countless travel health assessments to students. In 2009 she received a Certificate of Knowledge in Travel Health (CTH®) from the International Society of Travel Medicine.
